Job Summary

Provides support services under the supervision of appropriate professional staff. Assists the client or family in achieving physical and emotional comfort. Provides personal care according to the plan of care. Provides care for all age levels; neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and the elderly.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Certification & Licensure Requirements

• Required to be a certified nursing assistant.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Experience/Qualifications/Skills

• Nurse’s aide experience in the last 12 months in an acute, long-term or rehab facility preferred.
• Nurse’s aide experience in the last 12 months in an acute, long-term or rehab facility preferred.

Language/Communication Skills

English required. Multilingual capabilities enhance the ability to perform this job.

Reasoning Ability

Uses personal knowledge, experience and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions and solve problems.
