About the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of a home health and hospice nurse and clinician residency program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the program aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive residency program for home health and hospice nurses and clinicians.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure the program meets regulatory standards and organizational goals.
• Oversee the training and mentorship of residents, including regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Conduct periodic reviews and updates to the residency program based on feedback and best practices.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience working with healthcare providers and patients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
