Home Health Aide - Weekend Shifts

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate, experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for weekend shifts in Jericho and throughout Nassau County. Drivers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay

$19.65 per hour with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Provide medication reminders as directed
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification (required)
• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience (private care experience accepted)
• Weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Physical examination completed within the last 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation
