Home Health Aide Training November 2026
About the role
St. Peter's Health Partners is offering paid training to become a certified Home Health Aide for the Schenectady and Troy area. Training runs November 2–13, 2026, 8:00 am–4:30 pm at 1938 Curry Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303. Upon certification you will be hired to work with Eddy Senior Care (Schenectady, NY), Eddy Visiting Nursing and Rehab Association (Troy, NY), or Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center (Troy, NY).
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services and other supportive services in the home as defined in the patient's plan of care, under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse and other health care disciplines.
Requirements
- Valid NYS driver license (required for Eddy Senior Care and Eddy Visiting Nursing and Rehab Association)
- Registered vehicle (required for Eddy Senior Care and Eddy Visiting Nursing and Rehab Association)
- Must love helping others
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
Pay
Starting pay $17.05 per hour; after obtaining HHA certification, pay range $18.10–$22.15 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Pay may vary by location.
Schedule
Training to become a certified Home Health Aide offered November 2–13, 2026, 8:00 am–4:30 pm at 1938 Curry Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303. Position is full‑time/day shift; part‑time opportunities also available.
