Home health Aide
The Home Health Aide provides patients with assistance in activities of daily living. They perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients within the home with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and managing medications.
- Manages household chores and prepares meals for patients.
- Takes care of personal hygiene and grooming needs.
- Communicates with patients' families and healthcare providers regarding patient progress and needs.
- Follows standard policies and practices while working within defined parameters.
Requirements
- HHA 75 Hour Certificate or Current CNA State License.
- CPR certification.
- OSHA Certificate.
- HIV/AIDS Certificate.
- HIPAA Certificate.
- Alzheimer's Certificate.
- Domestic Violence Certificate.
- Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors.
- Part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
- Valid in-state driver’s license, current registration, and insurance.
- Driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.
- Part of Humana's Driver safety program.
