About the role
We provide care to clients across Putnam County, including Brewster, Carmel, Mahopac, and surrounding communities. Our team will review current openings and match you with an available client case.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with bathing and personal hygiene
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting assistance
- Activities of daily living
- Mobility and transfer support
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders as permitted
- Light housekeeping related to client care
- Companionship
- Observing and communicating changes in client condition
- Maintaining appropriate documentation
- Following the client's established plan of care
Requirements
- Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Reliability and professionalism
- Compassion for the people you care for
- Effective communication skills
- Previous home care experience preferred but not required
