Home Health Aide, PRN

Responsibilities

• Aids residents with activities of daily living.
• Bathes, dresses, grooms, toilets, eats, transfers, and moves residents.
• Engages residents in conversation, socialization, and activities.
• Provides or obtains assistance with care as needed.
• Observes residents for changes in condition and reports promptly.
• Completes forms and documentation as requested.
• Serves meals and assists with eating (excluding tube feeding).
• Puts beds to rights, empties trash, and tidies rooms daily and as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Virginia Home Health Aide license.
• CPR Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
