Certified Home Health Aide (Per diem)

Responsibilities
- Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, re-positioning, etc.
- Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nurse
- Performing light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed
- Documenting patient care in electronic software
- Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assigned
- Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire community
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid NJ CHHA certification
- Driver’s License and willingness to travel throughout the service area
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual is a plus
Benefits
This opportunity offers $18.75 - $22.00 per hour based on years of experience. Every other weekend and 2 holidays per year required.
