Home Health Aide - Now Hiring - Summit County

About the role

Haven Home Care helps older adults live at home. As a Home Health Aide you will assist clients with baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and provide companionship. The work is physical—you’ll be on your feet most of the day and help people move around. No medical tasks are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
• Help clients get dressed
• Prepare and serve meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Run errands and provide companionship
• Assist clients with mobility and movement

Pay

• STNA license: $18 / hour
• HHA certificate or relevant experience: $16–18 / hour (based on interview)
• Free training pathway: $16 / hour
• Paid every 2 weeks via direct deposit (W‑2)
• 10 % extra pay on holidays
• Performance raises and bonuses

Schedule

• Available shifts between 6 AM – 8 PM (most work is 8 AM – 5 PM)
• Minimum 20 hours per week

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with insurance that covers work driving
• Pass background checks
• Legal right to work in the United States
• At least 18 years old
• Four ways to qualify:
  • STNA (active or expired) – $18 / hour, ready in 1‑3 days
  • HHA certificate (30+ hours) – $16‑18 / hour, 5‑8 days training
  • 1+ year experience under an RN or LPN – $16‑18 / hour, 5‑8 days verification
  • No experience – free training, $16 / hour, 1‑2 weeks
• If you cannot prove experience or your certificate doesn’t qualify, you can still join through free training and receive pay based on your interview ($16‑18 / hour).
