Home Health Aide - Now Hiring - Summit County

About the role

Help older adults live at home by assisting with baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. This is physical work requiring you to be on your feet most of the day and help clients move around. No medical tasks are performed; those are handled by nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
• Help with dressing
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Run errands
• Provide companionship
• Assist with mobility and moving clients

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Own vehicle with insurance that covers work-related driving
• Pass background check
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
• Availability between 6 AM and 8 PM (most shifts 8 AM–5 PM)
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Minimum age 18 years

Qualifications

• STNA license (active or expired) – $18/hour
• HHA certificate (30+ hours) – $16–18/hour (based on interview)
• 1+ year experience under an RN or LPN – $16–18/hour
• No experience – free training pathway – $16/hour

Pay

• STNA: $18/hour
• HHA certificate or qualifying experience: $16–18/hour (interview‑based)
• Free training pathway: $16/hour
• Paid every two weeks via direct deposit (W‑2 position)
• 10% extra pay on holidays
• Performance‑based raises and bonuses available

Schedule
