Home Health Aide II- Eddy Senior Care Adult Daycare - Full Time Days

About the role

Eddy Senior Care offers a day center aide position at its 1938 Curry Road, Schenectady NY location. The PACE program combines Medicare/Medicaid insurance with comprehensive healthcare services (primary care, home health, adult daycare, transportation) coordinated by an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants into the adult day center
• Assist with meals
• Help with personal care
• Participate in the activities team to keep participants entertained

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a New York State Department of Health‑approved Home Health Aide Training Program, Home Health Aide Equivalency Program, CNA Transition Program, or Personal Care Aide Upgrade Program
• One or more years of experience as a Home Health Aide in a certified/licensed home health agency or as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital or nursing home (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills to meet participants’ physical and psychological needs
• Dependable, gentle, respectful attitude toward elderly clients

Pay

$18.65 – $22.70 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the FLSA are paid within the base‑salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates; the range may vary by location.

Schedule

Full‑time day shift: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
