All clients are private‑pay; Alvita Care does not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHA) or Personal Care Aides (PCA) to deliver exceptional one‑on‑one care to clients in their homes across Connecticut. Caregivers will work with private‑duty cases as well as facility‑based cases, providing support that includes memory care, palliative care, ADLs, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA/PCA certification in the state of NY
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 1 year of experience in private care
• Current medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain them
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
• Ability to successfully complete Alvita Care’s onboarding process
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with care
• Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate
• Experience with memory care, palliative care, ADLs, and transfers is a plus

Schedule

• Full‑time, part‑time, and per diem options available
• 6‑12 hour daytime shifts; occasional overnight shifts
• Weekend availability and flexible shift scheduling

Pay

• $19.10 – $20.00 per hour
• Weekly paycheck on Fridays (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check)
