Visiting Angels’ Fayetteville office is seeking compassionate, one-of-a-kind individuals to provide in-home care to senior adults and others in need across the Fayetteville area and surrounding communities including Raeford, Silver City, Rockfish, Dundarrach, Sanford, and many others. This role is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a trusted companion to clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home or during outings (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks)
• Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Assist clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients (when able)
• Conduct client shopping or accompany them on shopping trips
• Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete independently
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Report any unusual incidents promptly
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations

Requirements

• Passion to serve others with a true caregiver spirit
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation with attention to dietary needs
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• High ethical standards and reliability
• Physical endurance for assisting with mobility and daily activities
• High school diploma or equivalent
