Home Health Aide HHA

Play a vital role in improving quality of life and bringing comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Aid clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Absorb errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

Requirements

• HHA certification and/or valid CNA Certification required from the State of Massachusetts
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)
• Caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Valid Massachusetts vehicle registration

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of home health care practices and procedures

Pay

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
