Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health and safety needs
- Communicate with clients' families and healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience preferred, but not required
- Driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
- At least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- Experience working with disabilities is preferred but not required
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and empathy
- Basic computer skills
