About the Role
A home health caregiver provides personal care, observes and reports patient conditions, and documents care under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare or reheat meals and assist with feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current California CHHA or CNA certification
- At least 18 years old with the ability to follow written instructions
- Self-directed with minimal supervision
- Compassionate, empathetic, professional, and patient
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
