About the role
Haven Home Care provides caregiving services in Summit County, Ohio. We offer competitive pay with performance-based raises and flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities
- Show up on time and follow call-off procedures if unable to make a shift.
- Provide excellent client care and report incidents within 24 hours.
- Stay in touch with clients and complete feedback forms promptly.
- Perform physical tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, and errands.
- Companionship and light assistance with daily activities.
- Do not provide medication or perform medical tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel to various locations within the service area.
- Must be available to work weekdays from 6 AM to 8 PM.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Qualifications
- STNA license (active or expired): Starting at $18/hour.
- HHA certificate or experience: Starting at $16-18/hour based on interview.
- No experience: Starting at $16/hour (training provided).
Skills
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly population.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with daily living activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
- Free training pathway available for those with no experience.
- 3 performance-based raises over 2 years.
- Bonuses of $100 after 30 days of perfect attendance, $300 for referring a caregiver who stays, and $75-$1,500 for referring private pay clients.
Pay
- Starting rates based on qualifications.
- Performance-based raises of up to $2.00/hour over 2 years.
- Additional pay on holidays.
Schedule
- Shift lengths vary from 2-3 hours to 8 hours, depending on client needs.
- Regular clients are assigned based on preferences shared during the phone interview.
- Flexibility in scheduling is respected, but consistent attendance is expected.
