Job Summary
Woodhaven Adult Home, located just 3 miles south of Port Jefferson's waterfront village, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Auxiliary with light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Must be a New York State Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Recent Physical, including a drug screen, PPD, and Rubella and Rubeola Titers
- Ability to arrive timely with a self-driven and positive attitude
- Ability to interact with the Residents with respect and dignity
