Responsibilities

Companion Care

• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as:
  • Change bed linen
  • Clean bathroom and living area
  • Do dishes and laundry
  • Empty trash
  • Grocery shopping
  • Make bed
  • Mop, sweep, and vacuum
  • Pick up medications

Personal Care

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Assist into and out of the shower
• Assist with dressing and toileting
• Assist with transfers
• Brush hair and teeth

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate—you enjoy helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance
• Highly desired: Applicants with CNA, PCA, RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA certification
• Must have reliable transportation
