Parx Home Care is looking for talented Home Health Aides to join our amazing team!

Responsibilities

- Assist individuals with their daily needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. - Remind individuals to take their medication and offer help with administering it. - Keep track of vital signs and promptly communicate any changes to the healthcare team. - Take care of light household tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements. - Engage in meaningful and compassionate conversations with clients. - Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides - A valid certification as a Home Health Aide - A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide - Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and their families - Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics - A valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
