Home Health Aide

About the role

Atrio Help at Home is seeking dedicated and compassionate in-home caregivers to join a large Christian organization dedicated to senior care in the Grand Rapids and Lakeshore areas. This role allows employees to tailor their own schedules, work part time, and give back to their neighbors and community.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly neighbors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with nighttime routines
• Support with meal preparation and cooking according to dietary requirements
• Assist with housekeeping tasks
• Ensure that the environment is safe
• Provide transportation, errands, and shopping
• Offer companionship and dementia care

Schedule

Services are offered 24 hours a day, and shifts are typically 2–4 hours at a time, allowing flexibility to choose hours that fit your availability (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, overnight). One weekend of on-call duty per month and two holidays a year are required.

Pay & benefits

• $18.10/hr for non-certified aides (willing to perform all care tasks)
• $19.10/hr for Michigan-certified CNAs
• Mileage reimbursement
• Compensation for drive time
