Responsibilities
- Aids residents with activities of daily living.
- Engages residents in conversation, socialization, and activities.
- Responds promptly to resident needs and provides or obtains assistance as necessary.
- Observes residents for changes in condition and reports promptly to a licensed nurse.
- Completes forms and documentation as requested.
- Prepares and serves meals, assists with eating, and makes beds.
- Tidies rooms daily and as needed.
Qualifications
- Current CNA license in good standing.
- Maryland Home Health Aide license.
- CPR Certificate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
