Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one companionship and non‑medical hands‑on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Provide pet care as needed.
• Transport residents to doctor’s appointments and other errands.
• Give medication reminders.
• Recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current state certification or state‑specific required training for home health aides, with proof of required training.
• Compliance with all applicable state laws regarding certifications and licenses.
