Home Health Aide

Specific open client: Selinsgrove Male, offering full care and hands-on transfers. Must have experience. Shifts available Monday through Saturday, 9a–3p and/or Monday through Saturday, 5p–9p. Candidate must be reliable.

About the role

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) in BAYADA’s ACSP Division, you will provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companion services to adults in [county one, county two, county three], helping them stay safe and independent at home. You will follow a written plan of care created by a registered nurse and develop close relationships with your clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support range-of-motion exercises
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient-care experience welcomed (training provided)
• Passion for caregiving and desire to help others
• Commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
• Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability
