Home health aide

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve clients in BAYADA’s ACSP Division across designated counties. As a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization with over 50 years of experience, BAYADA provides personal care and companionship services that help adults live safely and independently at home. The role offers one-on-one patient care, 24/7 clinical support, and a stable work environment backed by a team dedicated to employee success.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed but not required; training provided
• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• Commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Schedule

Flexible scheduling available: full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call shifts. Overnight shifts available. Short commute times — assignments matched to locations near you.
