Home Health Aide

About the role

We are looking for a Home Health Aide to join our team, providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes. You will operate with compassion, delivering personalized and attentive care while building genuine relationships with those you serve. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, and prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Administer medications and immunizations
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of prior professional experience
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR certification

Positions available in Miami-Dade and Broward counties on a full-time, part-time, and PRN basis.
