About the role
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide exceptional one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their homes throughout Suffolk County.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding when needed
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Making medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility and daily activities
Qualifications
- Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
- At least one year of HHA experience preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Current physical examination
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON test (or chest X-ray if applicable)
- MMR immunization documentation
- Reliable transportation is a plus
Pay
Competitive pay: $19.65–$20.00 per hour
