Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate, experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team in Farmingdale and throughout Nassau County. We offer immediate per diem opportunities for those passionate about providing high-quality in-home care.

Pay

$19.65 per hour with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Schedule

Flexible 6–12 hour shifts with immediate case placement and local assignments close to home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Offer medication reminders as directed
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification (required)
• Minimum of one year of professional HHA experience
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

Qualifications

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the last 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation within the last 10 years
