Home Health Aide

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate, experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team. We have immediate per diem opportunities available in Kings Park and throughout Suffolk County.

About the role

Provide exceptional in-home care with flexible scheduling, assignments close to home, and a supportive team. Immediate case placement and rewarding one-on-one care in clients' homes.

Pay

$19.65 per hour with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Schedule

Flexible 6–12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Offer medication reminders as directed
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification (required)
• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience (private care experience accepted)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Physical examination completed within the last 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the last 12 months, or a chest X-ray completed within the last 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation
