Home Health Aide

About the role

Caregivers will provide personalized assistance to elderly clients in the comfort of their home, helping them maintain their safety, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with daily routines
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Provide reminders and cueing as needed
• Observe and report changes in condition to the care team

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Certification
• Current physical exam
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray as required
• Reliable transportation
• Compassionate and professional attitude
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred, but not required
• Newly certified CHHAs are encouraged to apply

Pay

$19/hour

Schedule

Consistent daytime shifts
Up to 56 hours per week available

Qualifications
