About the role
At Always Best Care, we provide compassionate and high-quality home health care services. We are seeking a Home Health Administrator with expertise in Medicare compliance, billing, and coding to ensure our agency operates smoothly and in full compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines for Home Health services.
- Prepare, submit, and track Medicare claims and required documentation.
- Oversee OASIS documentation, care plans, and other regulatory paperwork.
- Support agency audits and accreditation (e.g., Joint Commission, ACHC, CHAP).
- Stay updated on Medicare rules and industry changes that impact home health.
- Assist with billing, authorizations, and patient eligibility verification.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain compliance.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Oversee the entire home health agency's operations, including staff management, policy implementation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Medicare or CMS in compliance, billing, and coding.
- Must have prior healthcare experience.
- Strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations is a plus.
