Home Equity Specialist

About the role

As a Home Equity Specialist at Teachers Federal Credit Union, you will be responsible for assisting members in understanding and utilizing their home equity to meet financial goals. This includes evaluating loan applications, providing guidance on refinancing options, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and provide recommendations based on member needs and creditworthiness.
• Provide guidance on various refinancing options available to members.
• Ensure all transactions are conducted in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Build strong relationships with members to foster loyalty and trust.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably in home equity lending.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of home equity products and mortgage regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
