About the role
You will serve as a primary point of contact and front-line marketer for Home Equity and other specialized portfolio loan programs for members and external referral partners. Your responsibilities include originating loans, maintaining relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Meet with members by phone and in person to advise and guide them through the full loan process.
- Assist members, title companies, realtors, and other third parties with incoming questions and requests.
- Originate and evaluate home equity loans, lines, and other specialized portfolio loan programs.
- Prepare loans for submission to underwriting and notify members of loan decisions.
- Register and maintain a unique identifier through the Registry and comply with role requirements.
- Attend training and comply with CWCU policies and procedures as well as applicable State and Federal regulations.
Requirements

- Excellent planning skills, financial acumen, and analytical skills.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
- A minimum of one year of home equity or mortgage lending experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Results-driven and goal-oriented with consistent follow-through.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to present a professional image to management, staff, and outside contacts.
- Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
- Fine-tuned typing and 10-key skills with emphasis on accuracy.

Pay
$23.86 - $29.83 per hour
Schedule
Full-time hours required, with additional hours necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
