Position Summary
The Home Energy Auditor will evaluate properties and provide energy savings opportunities to participants. The scope of work includes the evaluation, coordination, and quality completion of Energy Efficiency Improvements including Weatherization, Appliance Replacements, Heating System upgrades including Air Source Heat Pumps.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or HiSet equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in the energy conservation or construction field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn software and databases used by WCAC.
- Self-directed, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse individuals, families, co-workers, and community partners.
- Customer service oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive outlook and empathetic style.
- Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages, a plus.
Other Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a National Grid’s background check process, including drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- This position requires daily travel and will be reimbursed for mileage.
- Successful candidate must complete required training and certifications within 18 months of hire.
