About the role

The Plumbing and Air, a Southern Home Services Company, is seeking a dynamic Home Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Professional to join a thriving business that values work-life balance and cares about its employees. No prior experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical industries is required as we offer comprehensive training and expert industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interact and engage with new, current, and previous customers with solutions for their home comfort to build long-term relationships.
• Communicate effectively during in-home conversations to help homeowners save money on utilities and improve home comfort and air quality.
• Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction and cultivate a referral base.

Requirements

• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills with customers, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
• Proficiency with computers and technology sales tools to streamline processes and boost sales effectiveness.
• Ability to travel to customer locations for in-person meetings and provide personalized service.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends to meet customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of business-to-consumer sales experience.
• Strong drive to sell and solve customer needs.

Physical Requirements

• Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office.
• Communicate verbally via phone or other communication devices.
• Stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.

Pay and Schedule

The advertised pay is the average of Home Comfort Advisor commission pay. This is an exempt position.

Schedule

Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment and may require occasional travel to customer locations.
