Responsibilities
- Aid in managing client engagements as part of a team.
- Identify and recommend appropriate asset management, financial, and estate planning advice to enhance the client experience.
- Maintain client relationships through excellent client service.
- Collect and provide financial planning data, collaborating with the Wealth Planning Department to develop financial plans.
- Create asset management reports for delivery to clients, either leading or supporting the process.
- Communicate professionally via phone, email, and writing to clients, advisors, and team members.
- Coordinate with internal and external team members to ensure timely execution of advice items.
- Utilize Salesforce for documentation and processing of client data, tasks, financial accounts, and policy adherence.
- Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, planning analyses, and investment materials.
- Manage meeting follow-up, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure client objectives are met.
- Coordinate the execution of trade orders with the investment operations team.
- Develop a deeper technical expertise in general financial knowledge.
- Identify additional planning or asset management opportunities in existing client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field required.
- CFP certification achieved or in process, with 1-3 years of client-facing advisory experience required.
- Experience working with financial planning software and planning deliverables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Client Relationship Management systems like Salesforce.
- Clean Form U4 required, without any regulatory disclosures, client complaints, arbitrations, or disclosable settlements.
