Home Care Specialist / Caregiver

Requirements

• Full vaccination against COVID19 (including current on all boosters)
• Some weekend flexibility is required (ie: rotating weekend, or one day commitment of weekend)
• Proven 1+ experience as a caregiver/Home Care Aide, or schooling certification such as CNA
• Pass a criminal background screening and clear driving record with no major infractions
• Current U.S. driver’s license, with current registration and insurance
• CPR certification, or the ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• Adhere to health and safety standards (COVID prevention, PPE, maintaining a safe work environment)

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Physical endurance - ability to push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs. and safely transfer clients; able to safely use gait belt & Hoyer lift
• Previous experience working with someone who has Alzheimer’s / dementia is desired
