Responsibilities

• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning
• Provides professional nursing services according to the plan of care
• Promotes favorable outcomes through collaborative practice and resource management
• Accurately documents services provided, facilitates coordination, justifies reimbursement, ensures compliance, and supports quality improvement
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships
• Achieves work assignments and engages in professional development

Requirements

• Successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state where the branch is located
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term setting, with home health experience preferred
• Knowledge of fundamental medical-surgical nursing principles and practice
• Excellent clinical nursing skills
• Understanding of adult learning principles
• Knowledge of medical record keeping standards
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of various applications
• High-level problem-solving, critical thinking, and reasoning abilities
• CPR certified

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic medical-surgical nursing principles and practice, excellent clinical nursing skills, and effective communication abilities are essential.
