About the role

This position is responsible for the management of services to support Agency operations in the areas of payroll and billing processes, customer support, personnel file maintenance, medical records and data entry. This position is responsible for marketing and business growth. This position transmits information to staff and office personnel to facilitate daily office activities and ensure that sensitive company information is appropriately handled. This position is often the first contact the company has with the public and must maintain confidentiality of business, patient and employee matters.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll: Manages payroll processes, reviews payroll documents for accuracy, generates reports, investigates payroll errors, and processes corrections.
  • Billing: Prepares and validates bills for all payers, processes corrections, and tracks accounts receivable.
  • Personnel File Maintenance: Maintains and audits employee personnel files, tracks employee documents, and issues supplies.
  • Medical Supply Management: Manages medical supplies, tracks inventory, and processes billing and physician orders.
  • Customer Support Process: Answers the Agency’s phone lines, provides clerical support, processes mail, and performs general clerical duties.
  • Medical Records: Maintains and audits client records, prepares documents, and performs forms inventory management.
  • Scheduling Management: Schedules patient/client visits, verifies insurance coverage, and monitors productivity.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in home health care operations, preferably in a managerial role. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health records systems.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records systems.
