Primary Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene assistance
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Offer medication reminders as directed
- Aid with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Accompany or transport clients to appointments and errands when needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans to promote client safety and well-being
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Nurse Aide (NA) registration or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Successful completion of a state-approved NA/CNA training program
- Caregiver must have a compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans
- Reliable transportation to client homes may be required, but not for all cases
