About the role
Home Care Attendants provide personal care to assigned residents and clients under the direction of a regulated nurse, Program Manager, or Clinical Supervisor and in accordance with the plan of care. The Home Care Attendant provides support, advocacy, and choice to residents, clients, and their families to ensure the highest quality of resident and client-focused care achievable within the Mission, Vision, and Values of Shepherd’s Care Foundation.
Employment Type: Casual
Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.20–$25.04
Location: Shepherds Care Millwood Gardens, 6612 28 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB
Requirements
- Registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA)
- Completed Bridging Modules, if required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (satisfactory to the employer)
