Home Care Assistant

About the role

Comfort Keepers Home Care is hiring caregivers and Home Care Assistants to provide 1:1 in home care services to senior clients in the Streamwood and Hoffman Estates, IL areas. As a caregiver on our team, you will provide quality care services such as personal care and companion care to keep senior clients healthy, happy, and active.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companion care to senior clients
• Ensure clients' health and safety
• Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Support clients with daily living activities as needed

Requirements

• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Pass background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required

• Strong communication skills
• Patience and empathy
• Ability to handle sensitive situations
• Flexibility and adaptability
