The Job at a Glance: Pay: $15–$17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Position: PRN/Part-Time Location: Awendaw and surrounding areas Shifts: 4–12 hours, depending on client needs and available assignments Availability: Days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights Training: In-house caregiver training and support Hours: Additional hours may be available based on client needs; full-time hours are not guaranteed How You Will Help Every client has different needs. Your role is to provide thoughtful assistance that helps each person feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal careSupport walking, mobility, and transfersProvide medication remindersPrepare simple meals while following dietary instructionsAccompany clients to appointments, pharmacies, stores, and other outingsHelp maintain a clean, comfortable living space through light housekeepingOffer conversation, companionship, and emotional supportFollow individual care plans and safety guidelinesNotice and report changes in a client's condition to the office What Makes a Great Caregiver? We are looking for people who are compassionate, attentive, responsible, and comfortable working independently in a client's home. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentPrevious professional in-home caregiving experience preferredCNA, PCA, HHA, or other hands-on caregiving experience welcomeValid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insuranceGood communication skills with clients, families, and office staffAbility to follow care instructions and remain calm in unexpected situationsSuccessful completion of required background and drug screenings Experience with dementia care, CPR, or equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, transfer benches, and walkers is a plus.
