Home Care Aide

About the role

Help at Home is hiring caregivers to provide in‑home support to seniors. No experience is required; paid training is offered. Caregivers typically work 15–25 hours per week based on availability and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
• Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
• Running errands, grocery shopping, and/or accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements

• Be in good physical health, including documentation of a tuberculosis test within six (6) months prior to the first assignment (where required)
• Comply with state background screening requirements
• Demonstrate dedication to professional development, including organizational and state‑required training
• Preferred: STNA OR 1 year of supervised employment experience as a home health aide or nurse aide OR completion of a Training and Competency Evaluation Program lasting at least 30 hours covering the required topics
• If the preferred qualifications are not met, complete a 30‑hour company‑paid training prior to seeing clients

Pay

$15‑$17 per hour

Schedule

Caregivers typically work 15–25 hours per week based on availability and travel requirements. Full‑time schedules require a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to support multiple clients in a single day.
