About the Role

Join Brookdale at Home as a Private Duty Caregiver and help seniors with one-on-one assignments. Most of our Private Duty Agency offices are located within Brookdale Senior Living Communities. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN positions with flexible scheduling, including same-day interviews.

• One-on-one companionship
• Non-medical hands-on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers
• Housekeeping and laundry
• Pet care
• Transportation to doctor’s appointments and other errands
• Medication reminders

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Brookdale, you will provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs while encouraging independence. Your role includes treating each senior with respect and dignity, nurturing a home-like setting, and assisting with activities of daily living such as:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Household tasks like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes

Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Brookdale also supports associates in their journey to U.S. citizenship by advancing fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for qualified associates employed for at least one year.

Pay

Base pay is determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
