Home Care Aide 8 Hour Shifts, South Bay/East Lake

Cheer Home Care is seeking Home Care Aides to provide compassionate non‑medical home care services to elderly and disabled clients in the South Bay, East Lake area. Aides assist with companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and light meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and other outings.
• Deliver specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, hospice, and other conditions.
• Offer hourly and 24/7 care as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and organization tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to help with activities of daily living.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Cell phone with internet access.
• Preferred certifications (not required): CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.
