About the role

The Idaho Forest Products Commission is seeking team members to support balanced, responsible management of Idaho's economically vital public and private forests. This role contributes to the forest sector, which employs more than 30,000 people across the state.

Responsibilities

• Support programs and events related to Idaho's forests and forest products industry
• Assist with K-12 education initiatives, including teaching and learning resources
• Help coordinate PLT (Project Learning Tree) events, workshops, and at-home learning resources
• Participate in promoting forest management and conservation efforts

Qualifications

• Commitment to providing information that leads to balanced, responsible forest management
• Interest in Idaho's public and private forest resources
• Ability to support educational programs and events

Skills

• Strong communication and educational support skills
• Organizational abilities for program and event coordination
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Idaho's forest products industry
