About the role
As a Home Access Lift Technician at Numotion, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining home access lifts. You will also provide customer service and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.Responsibilities
- Operate a motor vehicle and maintain personal insurance
- Navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areas
- Interact with clients and equipment in various environments
- Maintain and move equipment
- Routinely carry/lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders and crawl in attics
- Install and repair lift systems
- Provide customer service and adhere to safety guidelines
- Manage tools and equipment and maintain inventory
- Train and improve skills on the job
- Comply with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain personal insurance
- Capability to navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areas
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Physical ability to move equipment and interact with clients and equipment in various environments
- Proficiency in climbing ladders and crawling in attics
- Knowledge of tools and equipment related to lift installations and repairs
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines and standards
- Willingness to undergo drug testing as per company policy
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical or mechanical role
- Prior experience with lift systems installation and repair
- Background in construction, carpentry, or related fields
- Proven track record of working under supervision and following instructions
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
- History of maintaining tools and equipment and managing inventory
- Experience with on-the-job training and continuous skill improvement
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to home access solutions
- Previous experience in a role requiring physical labor and manual dexterity
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
