Holoholo Kids Crew Ambassador

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating fun and memorable experiences for children aged 5-12 years old at Mauna Lani Resort.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement children's activities
• Organize and prepare materials for indoor and outdoor use
• Possess patience, love, and kindness towards children
• Communicate effectively with children and their parents
• Show a deep understanding of Hawaii's culture, history, and traditions
• Work in various weather conditions outdoors, including ocean and swimming pool activities
• Occasionally work indoors, scheduling activities a few times a week
• Frequently stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, sit on child-sized chairs or the floor, and perform desk-based computer tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
• Create exceptional children’s experiences by collaborating with other departments
• Plan ahead and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Hike, be active, and play outside games

Requirements

• Pass a full background check
• Basic first aid and CPR certification required

Qualifications

• Genuine affinity for interacting meaningfully and positively with children and parents
• Experience working with children
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and minimum supervision

• Excellent communication skills

Benefits

This is a casual position at Mauna Lani Resort.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $27.52 hourly.

Schedule

Indoor activities are scheduled a few times a week, while working in various weather conditions outdoors, including ocean and swimming pool activities.
