Hollingworth Science Camp Assistant/Associate Teacher

Job Summary/Basic Function

The incumbent will assist the head teacher in all aspects of the science camp ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment for a group of elementary-aged children for the duration of the camp.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a team and take direction from lead teachers
• Basic classroom management and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Arts degree or enrolled in a Master of Arts program

Salary Range

$18-$20/hour
